What We Collect

Slopedex collects first-party analytics events: page views, search queries, filter interactions, and affiliate link clicks. These events are stored in our own database (Cloudflare D1) and tied to an anonymous session identifier — not to any personal account or identity.

We do not collect your name, email, IP address, or any information that identifies you as an individual. There are no user accounts on Slopedex.

Wishlist selections, compare selections, and filter preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Cookies and Consent

Analytics events are only recorded if you accept via the cookie consent banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, no analytics events are sent. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser cookies for this site.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. There are no Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, or equivalent ad-network trackers on this site.

Affiliate Links

Some links on Slopedex point to retailer websites via affiliate programs. When you follow one of these links, the retailer may set their own cookies and collect data according to their own privacy policy. Please refer to the retailer's own privacy policy for details on how they handle your information.

Slopedex does not receive any personal data from retailers as a result of affiliate click-throughs — we only receive aggregate commission reports.

What We Don't Do

Data Retention

Analytics events are stored in aggregate. Individual event records are retained for operational purposes (understanding which features are used, which affiliate categories perform) and are not used to reconstruct individual browsing histories.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date on this page. Continued use of Slopedex after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
