Snowboard Matcher FAQ
What size snowboard do I need for 160 lbs?
At 160 lbs, your ideal snowboard length is typically 150–158 cm for all-mountain riding.
Does terrain affect snowboard length?
Yes — park riders go 2–3 cm shorter, freeride riders go 1–2 cm longer than their all-mountain baseline.
How does the board matcher pick recommendations?
Answer a few questions about your weight, height, skill level, terrain, and flex preference, and we filter our full snowboard catalog by size range, ride style (park, all-mountain, or freeride/powder), and flex to surface boards that fit.
Do I need to enter my weight and height to get matches?
No — weight and height are optional. Skip them and the matcher still narrows results by terrain, skill level, budget, and the other filters you set; adding weight and height further narrows results to a length range sized for your body.
What does skill level change in my results?
Skill level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced) is used alongside terrain and flex to rank boards suited to your experience level within the results.
